My dear Mr. Ambassador:
On behalf of the President of the Inter-American Development Bank, Mr. Enrique V. Iglesias, and in reply to your request of February 9, I am pleased to enclose two documents on the subject in question. The first document sets forth the Bank's framework for action in this area, and the second gives information on past or ongoing intervention in support of the Summit's priority areas.
In light of the large number of activities under the Plan of Action and the great dynamism surrounding them, I wish to inform you that we intend to update the progress report every six months.
